Ready to hit the town during MODEX 2022? Check out some must-see spots around the city.
Centennial Park
Centennial Olympic, located right by the Georgia World Congress Center, is a 21-acre public park located in the center of downtown. The park was first built to make way for the Olympic summer games in 1996.
It's surrounded by major landmarks such as The CNN Center, Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola and many more.
Take a stroll along the BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine is a 22-mile open and planned loop of multi-use trail and light rail transit system on a former railway corridor around the core of Atlanta.
You can walk, scooter, and bike along loop, and take in street art, local businesses and restaurants, and scenery of Atlanta.
Georgia Aquarium
The largest aquarium in the US, Georgia Aquarium is home to marine life from around the world. See whale sharks, dolphin shows, and more!
MLK Jr. Home
The ATL is home to the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. and many other famous civil rights activists. Visit his childhood home, stroll along the MLK Jr. pathway, and learn more about the rich history of Atlanta.
Ponce City Market
Ponce City Market, located conveniently along the beltline, is packed full with food and drink options, shopping, and rooftop fun. Check out the rooftop for games and activities, and a stunning view of the surrounding area.
Botanical Gardens & Piedmont Park
The Botanical Gardens in Atlanta hosts numerous events that change during the season. Right now, events include: Orchid Daze, Atlanta Blooms, Cocktails in the Garden and more! It's located inside historic Piedmont Park — home to farmer's markets on the weekends, sports, festivals, a dog park, and more.
Walk around the pond, pick up a game of volleyball by the track, or scooter from the Botanical Gardens through the rest of park.
